Jasper's Dog Park

KDOG Meetup.com Members,

We are happy that so many people have been enjoying Jasper’s Dog Park.  We’ve talked to many park visitors that have just moved to the area or they are using the park for the 1st time as they have a new puppy or adopted dog.  Please take a moment to read the Jasper’s Dog Park rules at this link, http://www.kdog.org/. So that our dogs can all have a safe and fun experience at the park please make sure:

  • Your dog is completely vaccinated, healthy, and licensed
  • Your dog is at least 6 months old, and all male dogs must be neutered before playing in the park
  • You only bring 2 dogs (max) to the park at a time
  • You do not bring any aggressive or unsocialized dogs to the park.  If your dog is involved in any skirmish there you must immediately take your dog out of the park for a time-out walk or just leave the park.  This is a requirement if you plan to use the park.

Need some help getting your dog socialized, contact us at kdog@kdog.org.   We have great resources so that your dog is ready for fun at Jasper’s Dog Park.   If your dog does not enjoy the company of  people and other dogs please do not bring them to the park.

Have some photos of your dog enjoying time at Jasper’s Dog Park, feel free to share them on our KDOG Facebook page.

We really enjoyed the sights and sounds of this park. Although, it is really geared to only one or two dogs, at a time. If you have multiples, I don’t think it’s wise to bring them all along. The boardwalks are narrow and there could be a disturbance to the wildlife. It was very peaceful only have one dog with us. It added to the experience.
